Steam sales are mostly a wall of 20%-off noise you scroll past on instinct. This one has an actual outlier buried in it.

Per IGN, a 2024 RPG that ranked among the year's best-reviewed releases is discounted 75% for the duration of the Autumn Sale, which runs until December 4. That's the cheapest it has been on Steam since launch — not a modest first markdown, but the full plunge.

A 75% cut is a different animal from the usual sale math. It's the kind of pricing that usually shows up two or three years post-launch, once the marketing budget is long spent and the DLC has shipped. Seeing it on a game that reviews still talk about in the present tense is the rare case where the discount itself is the story.

The catch is the clock. December 4 is the end date, and Steam sales don't quietly extend — the price snaps back when the timer runs out, and the next comparable cut probably lands in the summer sale rather than the winter one.

Worth a look if the game has been sitting on your wishlist since launch while you waited for a number that felt reasonable. This is that number.
